Today, with the driving force of AI, there is no longer predicted ceiling for productivity. The conventional logic in business is undergoing disruptive transformation. When AI empowers individuals to outperform entire teams of the past, where does your core competitive moat lie? Is it in the penetrating power of cutting-edge technology, the insight into global industrial chains, or the keen instincts of venture capital?

When the “One Person Company” evolves from concept to reality, when users shift from “one size fits all” to “thousands of faces for thousands of people”, when real-time algorithms challenge the industry expertise accumulated by seasoned managers, when enterprises pivot from “collaboration within the organization” to “social hub connectivity”, and when sustainability and long-termism become the bedrock of commercial civilization—how do we seize the fleeting window of opportunity to achieve a leap in personal value as well as a generational transcendence of the organization?

Opportunities in the midst of change tend to favor explorers who foresee, perceive, and act before others.

As a frontrunner in innovative science and technology education in the Greater Bay Area, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) has launched the MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MBA+) program. It leverages the University’s world-class faculty and cross-disciplinary resources to cultivate technology business leaders capable of harnessing AI and discerning market trends. As a warm-up for the program, we are introducing the series of “MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship Open Lectures” to the public, inviting over 10 top-tier experts from fields such as AI technology, business management, innovation and entrepreneurship, and venture capital. The first round of lectures will be held in core cities of the Greater Bay Area. This is not merely a feast of knowledge, but also a “rehearsal” for you to become a technology business leader in the AI era.

This time, whether you are lost in the fog or seeking a breakthrough, we are looking for you.

If you possess extensive management experience, yet find yourself in a state of “I understand it, but I do not know how to utilize it” when it comes to underlying technologies such as AI and big data, and are secretly worried about being quickly replaced by the AI-savvy newcomers, and sinking into anxiety of technological unemployment. Or if you have already keenly realized that your enterprise must transform, but within complex organizational structures, you don't know how to optimize processes and reduce costs through AI, and are frustrated by the lack of effective practical solutions.

If you find yourself on a career plateau—where you lack a broad cross-industry perspective to move up, and sense the growing obsolescence of conventional management approaches when look down, you urgently need to make the critical leap from a “management executor” to a “science and technology innovation navigator”. Or perhaps you are an investor who sees many technologies that “look beautiful on paper”, yet consistently struggle to identify concrete application scenarios and profit models, deeply feeling the absence of a bridge connecting “hard tech” with “commercialization”.

If you are an ambitious entrepreneur who, though empowered by AI’s formidable capabilities, feels inexperienced in the “commercial foundations” such as equity incentives, corporate governance, and legal compliance; or if you are leading an outstanding entrepreneurial project but struggling to catch the attention of mainstream investors, urgently in need of the endorsement and alumni network support that only a top-tier institution can provide...

If you see yourself in any of the profiles above, we sincerely invite you to join this dialogue about the future.
