Dr. Jinyu He is an Associate Professor at the Thrust of Innovation, Policy, and Entrepreneurship, Society Hub, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). Holding a PhD in Business Administration with a major in Strategic Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, his academic career encompasses roles at several institutions including China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).

Prof. He’s research focuses on corporate governance, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability, competitive dynamics, and firm knowledge assets. He has published in top-tier academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, and Journal of Business Ethics. Additionally, he engages in academic service, including serving as Senior Editor of Management and Organization Review, and mentors doctoral students.

His teaching has been recognized with honors such as the Franklin Prize for Teaching Excellence and consistent Dean’s Recognition for Teaching Excellence during his tenure at HKUST and CEIBS. Beyond academia, Prof. He contributes to industry practice and public discourse through executive training programs for leading enterprises like Kweichow Moutai and Guangzhou Automobile Group, as well as media articles exploring topics related to ESG and sustainable development.
